Congratulations, Caroline!Īlso, Michelle De La Garza‘s thesis project, INDIGENOUS, was named one of the top 9 scripts of 2019 by the Female Film Festival. Her first chapter will be published in their online literary journal, The Write City Magazine. The Chicago Writers Association’s Board of Directors selected Caroline Mansour‘s opening chapter to her novel-in-progress “Revisionist History” as the Second Prize winner in their 4th Annual First Chapter Contest.

Congratulations, Kristen!ġ/20/20: Good news from MCW alum Diane O’Neill! She had an op-ed published recently in the Chicago Sun-Times. Congrats, Jeremiah!Ģ/5/20: Two exciting developments from our alums:Ĭatori Sarmiento‘s research paper, “The Benefits of Equity and English: Special Needs Inclusion in Japanese Education,” was published in the International Journal of Technology and Inclusive Education. One piece of good news: current student Jeremiah Sargent wrote in to let us know his apocalyptic novel Turn Red Tomorrow, written under the pen name Michael Zargona, is available on Amazon.
